This fire is hot.
Here is an example of what often happens when you cook steak on an open fire. Once the steak starts to cook, the fat drips onto the fire and cause's it to flame up. We recommend having a cheap can of beer to pour onto the coals to tone the fire down. Cooking to long in flames like this will burn the steak.
