The Pearl will be closing from Columbus day 'til stroll, however, for those craving a tuna martini or passion fruit cosmo, check out The Boarding House menu starting November 1st when Seth Raynor, executive chef joins forces with BOHO- chef de cuisine Jason Carroll, Thai cuisine master 'Sookie' and friends for a culinary collaboration featuring small plates and exotic flavors. so turn off your television and turn on your taste buds...

Sfoglia

Speaking of Sfoglia we enjoyed a truly lovely meal there with visiting chef/friends Ming & Polly Tsai. Forget Atkins, the bread made by Coleen is beyond... Call 508.325.4500 or visit their website for the lunch menu.

The Hen House
I heard a bartender supported rumour last night that the Hen House will be featuring a late night take out menu- [no table service.] Now that the strip is closing earlier, this could prove quite successful among both revelers and night shifters.

The Club Car
The club car is offering several fall options beyond the a'la carte world - Sunday's Beef Wellington- [Malcolm's favorite!] Monday's baked Stuffed lobster- and Thursday's Chef Tom Proch pairs Michael Shannon's Classics with stellar wines. Call 508.228.1101 for the scoop.

American Seasons
Thursday's at American Seasons featuring Wine tasting menus as well. Upcoming- Oct. 16th Bonny Doon Winery. October 23- Hartford Court Winery call 508.228.7111 for ressies & details .

Centre Street Bistro
Fall flavors are in the forefront at Tim & Ruth Pitt's intimate Centre Street Bistro, the Wednesday night Prix Fix Dinner is a steal of a dreamy meal at $24. I love their lunches and the potato pancakes at breakfast should be illegal!

Black Eyed Susan's
Speaking of breakfast, I have trouble breaking out of my 'usual' pattern at Black-Eyed Susan's- Thai scramble with grits and a side of the Yucatan chicken sausage plus the bonus of breakfast 'til one is huge...we tried to go the other night for dinner but could still see a line from the corner.
