Sfoglia opens in NYC
Local Nantucket restaurant Sfoglia opened in New York City on March 10th. It’s located on 92nd and Lexingtion. The food is pretty much the same as Nantucket, with their famous homemade bread and pasta. The bread has been a huge hit with the taste buds in NY. The vibe is a little more sophisticated with some of the same rustic interior; mixed up plates, wine in small glasses. The restaurant has 14-foot high ceilings with 3 large murano glass chandeliers with bronze pink lighting. They have an incredible bar topped with pistasceo green marble. The walls are grey stucco broken up with wine cases that hold cookbooks, mason jars similar to the Nantucket restaurant. The restaurant has 55-60 seats with large family style tables and 15 outdoor seats in the summer.

Being in NYC gives them the opportunity to buy the freshest ingredients and they have access to many unique ingredients and food products. New York has given the owners Ron and Colleen Suhanosky new inspiration and excitement that they are bringing here to Nantucket.  They have a full liquor license. There have been many Nantucket customers coming to the restaurant. The buzz is getting around the city, people, customers, have been raving about the food and atmosphere of Sfoglia.

Sfoglia is open for lunch and dinner Monday thru Saturday and reservations are recommended. For more information visit their website sfogliarestaurant.com
They will be launching a new site including NYC shortly
